Lydia Network

Carry each other’s burdens.Galatians 6:2

A cup of coffee.
A circle of support.

Start a Lydia Coffee in your city or region and connect
people who walk alongside foreigners.

Five simple steps

  1. Start locally

Any Nordic Refuge Conference attendee can start a local Lydia Coffee.
Choose a welcoming place and a first date in your city or region.

  2. Invite local co-workers

Bring together pastors, volunteers, people with migration experience
and trusted local supporters. Begin with the people you already know.

  3. Meet once or twice a year

Meet informally over coffee. Share experiences, listen to one another,
exchange ideas and contacts, and offer encouragement.

  4. Build a trusted network

With permission, keep a record of local contacts and offers of support.
As relationships grow, listen to local needs and help one another respond.

  5. Share local learning

Share local questions and learning at the yearly Nordic Refuge Conference.
Bring new relationships, ideas and resources back to strengthen local work.
